I'm going rom com! This is probably one of my favorite genres to read, and I figured it was finally time I tried my hand at light and happy love stories. (Not that I would consider my other books unhappy, but they tend to lean more toward the dramatic side in general.) This book is definitely light and happy! But don't worry, because I've been told by early readers that there's still plenty of longing and page-turning swooniness.
I'm so excited for this one! I had the idea a year ago for a group of four men—known as the Wonder Boys—who "adopted" their friend's little sister as their own when they were younger, and I knew it would be fun to play with the idea of her falling for one of them. Who better than her brother's best and longest friend? Besides, I've always wanted to try a fake dating story. Not only is this book chock full of fake dates, with all of the Wonder Boys, but the whole series will be centered around fake relationships! I wasn't sure if I could make that happen—fake relationships are difficult to make believable in the first place, and writing four distinct stories with different reasons has been a challenge—but I am so excited to get this series out in the world over the next little bit! Love on Camera, the first book in the Wonder Boy series, is coming July 15th! The ebook up for preorder, and it will be available in paperback and to read for free in KU!

How I define my top 10 will definitely differ from others'. When I try to recollect the best books I've ever read, I have this criterion. How much did that book force me to finish in one go? Whether I was able to finish it in a single go or not due to other compelling reasons.
