Get to know Dana!

​In case you don't know anything about me, here are a few basic facts:

• My name really is Dana LeCheminant (pronounced leh-SHEM-ih-nahnt). It’s very distantly French, and I’m mostly of British Isles/Scandanavian descent. 
• I do, however, speak French, though not fluently. It was enough to mostly get me where I needed to go when I went to Paris a few years ago.
• I’ve been telling stories since I can remember. My stuffed animals went through some pretty traumatic narratives as I tried to fall asleep, because apparently I loved the drama. I still do…
• I’m incredibly drawn to the outdoors and will jump on every opportunity to get outside and explore. Living in Utah has given me a pretty big playground, and there are some amazing landscapes and discoveries within driving distance.
• I write for the fun of it, not as a business. I would so much rather connect with people over my stories than try to sell them as a product. They’re special to me, and I just want to get them out into the world and living so they stop sitting around on my computer.
