8/14/20 - Audrey Beaudoin
Meet Audrey Beaudoin!
About me:
I’m a twenty-year-old French Canadian who began writing English stories online when I was sixteen. I love music, reading, designing book covers, and daydreaming about my next story!
What genre do you write?
Contemporary romance
What is your favorite part of your most recent book or WIP?
I’m pretty proud of the cover of my latest book and the formatting. Those are the hardest parts of self-publishing (let’s face it, the whole process is hard 😂), but I did it!
What is your all-time favorite book or favorite author?
Gah, that’s a hard question! I’ve loved Colleen Hoover ever since I was a teenager. She never writes a bad book!
What’s your favorite quote/meme/advice about writing?
“If there is a book that you want to read, but it hasn’t been written yet, then you must write it.” — Toni Morrison
What inspires you?
People and their dreams.
What is your earliest memory of writing?
I remember sitting in front of my very old computer when I was a kid and writing a short Once Upon a Time type of story in the Block note app. I don’t think I was even aware that I was being a writer! 🤣
Ideal Superhero
Teleportation. Me, lazy? Nah.

We survived the plane crash.
We survived days on a raft in the middle of the ocean. Right when all hope to get rescued crumbled, we shared a kiss that left me heartbroken―my first and last kiss.
Or so I thought. Because we didn’t die.
My plan is to never see Chris Ross again. To keep hanging out with his sister without crossing his path. Getting my life back together and working on my goals are the only things that matter. I have plans, and they don’t include love.
But then he shows up at my workplace, asking for my friendship. When I learn something that changes everything, I’m determined to stay away and not let myself fall for him.
Too bad he’s persistent. Too bad I can’t stop thinking about the damn kiss. Too bad it’s nice having him around and being his friend.
If things were to change, they could get really complicated…
